New Patients

If you’ve had recent X-rays, you can bring those so we can review them. However, we’ll still take our own standing X-rays because we need to see the effects of gravity on your spine.
You may also bring any vitamins or medications you’re taking, so we can talk about how those are impacting your overall health.
Your First Visit
When you come into our office, our friendly, knowledgeable staff will greet you and make you feel comfortable. Then you will meet with Dr. Zimmerman, who will listen as you describe what’s been going on with your symptoms or condition. She will then conduct a full, in-depth neurological and orthopedic exam. Finally, we will take x-rays so that the doctor can determine exactly what the issues are concerning your spine and nervous system and how these issues are causing your symptoms.
Next, Dr. Zimmerman will show you the x-rays and explain what they mean. She will outline her recommendations for care, including how long it is likely to take to resolve your situation. This process is different for each patient. Dr Zimmerman will take the time to make sure you understand everything before we get started.
Then, if you are ready to begin, we will start your care. Your body is unique; your life challenges are different from other people. Dr. Zimmerman will design a specific treatment program to address the issues affecting your individual body systems, to bring about the best possible results for you. This will include the therapies that Dr. Zimmerman prescribes in your treatment program, as well as chiropractic adjustments. At the end of your first treatment, Dr. Zimmerman will help you schedule your treatment plan.
